Them: “No one is coming to save you.”
My staff: “We’re on the way. We got you Starbucks, and we’ve got it handled.” 😂❤️
Everyone keeps asking how we pull off something like Whimsical Woods…
“Are you stressed?”
“That’s a lot of work, huh?”
“How do you do all of that?”
The answer? I have THIS staff. 🥹
Yes, it’s a lot of work. Yes, my brain feels like it might explode. But every time I start feeling overwhelmed, someone shows up with a Diet Coke or a text saying, “It’s okay. Leave it on the table. We’ll get it done tomorrow.”
And somehow, I can breathe again.
So while we’re shouting out all the wonderful businesses in our community, the people inside mine deserve a BIG one, too!
So many of our staff have a lot going on in their own lives right now, yet they keep stepping up and showing up for each other in ways that stop me in my tracks. They see what needs doing. They check on each other. They make me laugh when I’m about to cry…or join me for both. 😂❤️
To my Lord’s crew: I see you, I love you, and I hope you know how much you mean to me. Whimsical Woods happens because of you, and I am so grateful I get to do this with you.
Because when you have a staff like mine…someone IS always coming to save you. Usually with caffeine. ❤️
