We had two great markets this week and still have some fresh baked goodies available, so I’m opening the stand today! 💙

Most items were baked on 6/2 and 6/3 and are still fresh and ready for your table.

Night 2 and we’re set up in St. Charles for WOW! 💙

Yesterday was Eyota, tonight it’s St. Charles. The bread racks are full, the cookies are out, and we’re ready for another evening at the market.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Eyota and supported our little family business. Seeing familiar faces and meeting new customers makes all the long nights of mixing, shaping, and baking worth it.

After mixing, shaping, baking, packaging, and loading everything up, we’re set up and ready to go!

🌞 It’s a beautiful Sunday here at MillervilleWoods!

I’ve been shaping bread since 10:30 this morning, and we now have over 50 loaves in the works for this week’s markets. 💙

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing row after row of dough ready for its overnight rest, knowing it’ll be fresh-baked and headed out to your tables this week.

📍 WOW in St. Charles on Wednesday

Started the day by getting off work at 8am, opening the stand, and feeding 1,500 grams of starter.

After a nap, the starter had done its job and grown to nearly 8,000 grams. A few hours later, every shelf I own was full of dough. 🍞😂

Those 8,000 grams of starter just turned into about 50 loaves getting ready for a busy week ahead.

Never done this before, but today we’re doing a “Pay What You Can” day at the stand for Memorial Day 💙

We still have fresh bread, cookies, banana bread, and eggs available at the stand. Everything will still be marked at normal pricing, but today you can pay what you can and take what you need.

Please don’t take full advantage of this, because I would truly love to be able to do things like this more often. If you’ve ever wondered what happens to bread that doesn’t sell, most of it heads to freezer stock anyway. As for the treats… we’re a family of 6, soon to be 7, so trust me when I say not much goes to waste around here 😂

This is just our small way of hopefully helping someone who maybe can’t swing fresh bread or extra groceries right now, but could still use something homemade on the table for their family 💙

Stand will be open sun up to dark.
