Good morning Port Elizabeth!
Look east this morning and you’ll catch a pretty pair sitting low over the Delaware Bay — that slim waning crescent Moon with bright Jupiter tucked right underneath it. Jupiter’s the big white “star” just below the Moon; they’re both in Cancer, and the Beehive Cluster is a little off to the Moon’s right if you’ve got binoculars.
Thin crescent, earthshine on the dark part of the Moon, and the solar system’s largest planet hanging right there with it. Worth a photo before the sky gets too light.

Low — 1:58 a.m. (0.4 ft)
High — 7:32 a.m. (5.5 ft)
Low — 1:56 p.m. (0.1 ft)
High — 7:59 p.m. (7.0 ft)
