Today's adventure. High in the mountains outside Council Idaho. Olld Silver and Copper mine. Collected amazing specimens of Chrysocolla in Silver, Dendritic specimens, Garnets in Pegmatite Quartz, Epidote and many other cool minerals. So pretty.

On my way to the Denver for a buying trip. I am making stops in Central Idaho for a little rock hounding with a friend. Crystal Mountain is outside of McCall Idaho. The whole Mountain is nothing but Quartz. The road all of it. Very cool spot. Burgdorf Hot Springs is right below.
Next time you are down this way make sure you stop and check this out. Or make a trip of trecking around in the mountains and soaking in the hot springs after. More adventures to come. I will post pics of the hotsprings next. Cabins can be rented the whole place has been there since the 1800s. Very cool. :)

FREE CRYSTAL HIKE #14
Manito Park ( Happy Laborday)
This is an absolutely gorgeous and very easy hike for EVERYONE. We placed 85 Polished Flower Agate Palmstones on the main paved trail that goes up and over the bridge.
Parking and heading out from Mirror Pond.
You can go up into the upper paved path just above the one that circles the pond. We set out from hear heading towards Lilac gardens. Cut up the dirt path from here to the upper dirt path. Once here take a left and continue towards the cobble stone bridge. Once close to the bridge take a left onto the paved path and tuen left. (NOT under the bridge) Follow this path all the way up until you see the Japanese Gardens parking lot. We stopped and turned back here. Stones are all along this area from the parking lot to this parking lot.
We did hide these beautiful stones in an open field at the first bend on the right, the next bend past the concrete barriers to your right were there is huge rock outcroppings. So look everywhere. WE DID NOT GO IN ANY OF THE GARDENS OR LANDSCAPED AREAS. STAY OUT OF THEM! Just look in the forested areas the bridge and all rock outcroppings. Base of trees and nooks of trees. If it looks sketchy to climb or walk we did not go there.
This trail, besides a small portion that crosses up to the paved part is paved the whole way. Access for wheelchairs, strollers and everyone.
It is supposed to rain of and on the two days and I did not want to send people out on wet muddy trails. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THE RESPECTFUL OF THIS PARK. This is one of the most beautiful parks in our area. DO NOT DAMAGE ANYTHING!!!

Birthday this month? We got your back. Sapphires are the official birthstone, but not easy to come by and pretty pricey. The alternate birthstone is Lapis Lazuli.
This gorgeous royal blue stone is formed deep underground through a geological process, where hot magma alters Limestone or Marble. Heat and pressure triggers the chemical change that transforms the original rock. Lazurite provides the deep blue driven by suffer components in the Crystal structure. Some Lapis is very UV reactive. Glowing beautiful gold and pink.
Spiritually Lapis is one of the best stones to use for speaking your truth. Come check out out selection of this beautiful blue stone.

If you don't have one of our magical crystal ring lamps, you should! They are so beautiful with 3 different light modes. Each is made with love and intention. I just restocked them. Light therapy is very important in the darker days.
