This week we are shining a light on Michelle Pennington, who has been with us for the full 15 years that we have been open. Michelle is our Front-End Manager, and I’m quite sure after this many years, she hears register beeps in her sleep each night! Her combined service with Tradewinds and Milo Farmers Union is 19 years.
Michelle is a loyal employee and rarely misses a day of work. She has a calm demeanor and stays composed and decisive, even in stressful situations. For a period of time, she worked as our evening manager, and also serves as our back-up scan file coordinator, so she has a vast knowledge of many store policies, practices and nuances. If you’re looking for something in the store, Michelle will know where to find it!
Michelle has a creative side as well…You can find her at various craft fairs around eastern Maine. You may have even bought one of her lake mugs right here at Tradewinds! In her free time, she also enjoys traveling and spending time with family, including her daughter, Haley, and son, KC.
