Time for a little life update! Hi, I’m Amy! The human behind Thriftfest Midwest 👋
It’s very wild for me to think that our last event was only a month ago! This last month has been chaotic in mostly the best way. Immediately after our event on August 2nd, we began planning our event for December 13th. However, a week after that, we were thrown head first into opening a second location for Sunny + Olive Co, my small business!
I totally underestimated just how much work it is opening a second location while continuing to be a mom to a medically complex kiddo and somehow keep up with normal life things (like cleaning my house or watering my plants 😀).
Throughout all of this, I’ve been silently working on Thriftfest, planning a gift market for Jolly Jingle, and continuing my first love, photography! Needless to say, I’ve been busy!
But with the building of our second location underway, an entire team behind me, my photoshoots being caught up, and my baby’s first birthday party over (😭😭😭😭😭😭), I’m ready to jump back in to shouting about how incredible our thriftfest market is!!!
We started going through applications yesterday, and will begin sending out approval emails over the course of a few weeks! Applications will close on October 1st so you still have some time to apply! We already have 25+ amazing applicants and it’s going to be tough narrowing down who we want at TM!
