update

I'm officially filing with the FBI and their Internet Crime division. The California Attorney General suggested I file an official complaint as they do not represent individuals and apparently will not hold accountable the company that resides within their own state. Although I have no idea if this will work, I can try my best to be hopeful. This scam that is happening right now is impacting some very large creators on Facebook and none of us are able to get the help we need. Some of us are losing our livelihoods, some of us are losing massive payouts, and some of us are losing our largest following and audience. This is a very real threat to creators and it needs to be investigated to the fullest extent. This hacker who is running this scheme is stealing thousands of dollars from all over the world, including from American citizens. This threat to our data, privacy and safety should be taken very seriously. I will be on the lookout for any correspondence to see if I can help secure my own account and those I know of that have also been impacted by this scam.

For anyone who has had their account stolen, hacked or scammed online please be sure to file with the IC3 through their government website. I'm not sure how much they can help but I hope something can be done.

update:

So I got a message from Facebook this morning where they "found a hacker" and removed them and reinstated my account.. except the page ID is for my admin page that isn't hacked and didn't need attention and I've had access to the whole time. Yet my page account with 400k followers is still being hijacked by a scammer. I replied and gave them the correct ID number.. AGAIN. Now I get to wait to see if they just randomly close out my ticket again or not. I also received another email from them earlier that had a bunch of help topic links that were not at all related to my issue and an attempt to close that ticket as well.

To all of you that have been commenting and trying to spread the word, thank you! I'm in utter shock that the page hasn't been temporarily taken down with the amount of reports you have all sent in. You all have been tagging Facebook by the thousands and they still aren't getting this right or seeming to care. On the bright side at least the money they owed me cleared my bank today but every day I'm not in my account are days I'm losing out on earnings. Please continue to comment on the page that my account has been hacked, if you have any contacts with a local news organization or Facebook please reach out to them about this. Anything we can do to get their attention helps! You all have been warming my heart with your swift actions and kind words of support. ♥️
