Founded in 1992, Dixie Thunder was built upon the sale and marketing of licensed NASCAR trackside apparel and collectible die-cast, dirt track Late-Model and Sprint apparel and collectibles, and basically all-things-motorsports. Our business grew greatly over the coming years as we expanded to trackside vending and support of the sport thru selective track and event sponsorship. We have - and will always support helpful and ethical consideration of our fans and customers, and continue to provide the industry-leading brands, best pricing, up-to-date & relative commentary....and we'll even tell you the best places to park when you go to Bristol, and why I love the pit-chute bleachers at Portsmouth Raceway park.

One day she won’t need me to do this…
but for now, I get to be her crew chief, her mechanic, and her biggest fan.

All of us at Rocket Chassis and Rocket1 Racing is saddened by the passing of Forrest Lucas.

Forrest was, without a doubt, one of the biggest sponsors and contributors that motorsports has ever seen. His love for the sport has been instrumental in many divisions of motorsports to where it has grown to today. Even though we race with a competing oil brand, Forrest always welcomed the Valvoline Rocket1 team.

Forest understood in order for this sport to grow that we need everybody, even competing brands.

Motorsports lost a great ambassador, contributor and supporter. Everyone at the Rocket family sends our deepest condolences and prayers to the Lucas family.
