A couple changes to the schedule this week:

1. I will NOT be in Clyde on Monday, June 29. Every indication is that it will be excessively hot, so we’ll hope for better weather next Monday.

2. On Wednesday, July 1, I will be at the park providing lunch for kids, so the shop will be closed from 10:30 to 12:30.

3. The shop will be closed on Thursday, July 2, as there are some out-to-town commitments that are claiming my attention.

Things should be back to normal next week. Thanks for understanding.

The BIKE4ALZ guys are on their way! Twelve young men from Western Kentucky University are riding from San Francisco to Virginia Beach, raising money and awareness for Alzheimers research, and they will be in Miltonvale on Sunday, June 21. They will spend the night at the EMS building, and, as in the past, we’d like to feed them with a BBQ burger meal. A couple of the guys this year have nut allergies, so we’re trying to avoid a trip to the ER (like last year when a guy ate a cookie with nuts). If you’d like to donate some food please let me know. We need hamburger, buns, chips, drinks, fresh fruit, and desserts. Many thanks!

I’ll be out of the shop this week, April 6-10, as we show California friends that Kansas isn’t all flat. Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 13 - Monday to Friday, 10 to 5, evenings and weekends by appointment. Make time to ride!
