All our seedlings are in the ground. Rows and rows of hard work. Now it's time for the twatching and waiting, watering and weeding, growing and encouraging. 🌱💧☀️

Step 5: Clean the dirt clumps off the tubers
Step 6: Take down to basement for winter storage
Step 7: Say goodbye til spring

It's a lot of hard work to get the dahlia blooms we have year after year, and worth all the sweat and aches.
Step 1: Pick as many flowers as you can hold to take home
Step 2: Cut down all the stalks
Step 3: Dig up all the tubers
Step 4: Load them up in the van to take back home
Step 5: to be continued...
