Representative Van Orden's, Representative Fitzgerald's, Representative Pocan's, and Senator Johnson's Offices wer very generous to meet with us personally. Music is one of the few issues that unites Congress across party lines. Both chambers of Congress passed resolutions recognizing music education in March 2026. NAMM's 20 years of Fly-ins have built real bipartisan relationships.

We're excited to announce that on Wednesday, May 13th 2026, our store owner, Tristann Rieck, will join a delegation of NAMM Members, music and arts advocates, and industry partners to speak with Members of Congress to request continued support for federal funding for quality, sequential music education as part of the school day for more than 50 million public school students.
