Attention fellow small business owners and our wonderful community. We need your help spreading the word. Here at Melt Chocolates, we have unfortunately learned the hard way that Square and Square Payroll do not have the backs of the small businesses that rely on them.

Recently, one of our hardworking employees was the victim of a targeted scam. Their direct deposit information within Square Payroll was fraudulently changed to a Green Dot bank account, resulting in two full paychecks being stolen. We immediately reached out to Square for support. Instead of swift action to protect our team member and investigate the fraud, we have been given the runaround for over two weeks.

If you are using Square to process your payroll or run your business, please reconsider. When real fraud happens and you actually need their support, they will leave you out to dry.

Please share this post widely to warn other small business owners before this happens to them or their staff. Let's hold these massive payment processors accountable!

Claudia Bars are back. ❤️

Named in honor of David’s mom, Claudia, this bar is as vibrant and beautiful as the woman who inspired it. Layers of raspberry caramel and almond praline come together in a rich, elegant bite. Bright, nutty, buttery, and just a little romantic.

And yes, the pink is intentional. It was her favorite color.
