***SOLD*** Vincent Bach model 42 "Stradivarius" trombone

This is a large bore horn with a 'F-attachment', making it ideally suited for orchestral playing. It is a professional level instrument that is perfect for advanced students and serious amateurs, as well as pro players.

This horn is ready to play right out of the box. It has just been serviced by a reputable local shop. I will include the receipt showing a charge of $172.64. The servicing included removal of minor dents, straightening and alignment of the slide, replacement of the water key cork, and full disassembly for ultrasonic cleaning.

This horn is in very good physical condition. There are some tiny nicks, but no significant dents, dings, or pings. The rim of the bell has not been bent. The tuning slides aren't stuck. The main slide moves freely smoothly. The lacquer finish is mostly intact with minor scratching/scuffing consistent with typical use.

This horn comes with its original Bach 5G large shank mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is in very good condition. It has light plating wear and scratches, but there are no nicks or dings, and the shank is round. It has been lightly polished and cleaned.

This horn comes in its original case. The case is in good condition, with normal wear and tear. It is clean and odor-free inside.

***SOLD*** Yamaha YSS-875 (pre-EX) soprano sax.

This is a top of the line "Custom" model. It comes with two necks...the straight M1, and semi-curved M1R. This horn is keyed to high F #. It has independent palm keys, a tear-drop front F key, and a tilting low Bb mechanism. It is in excellent, lightly used condition. There are no dents, dings, pings, or even nicks, and no past dent work. The rim of the bell has never been bent. The body is straight, and neither neck has been bent. The lacquer is 99% intact, with barely a scratch on it. The pads are in very good condition and sealing properly. As with any horn, you may want to take it to your tech for a once over after shipping, and/or to have it tweaked to your personal preferences, but there is nothing wrong with it that needs addressing in order for it to be playable. It plays great from top to bottom. The original case is also in great shape. No mouthpiece or other accessories included though.

Awesome gold plated Selmer NY (Buescher) curved soprano with custom engraving...ready to restore. $1200

The serial number 85529 is most likely a Buescher number, which would place its date of manufacture in c.1921. It is low pitch, the desired tuning for modern use. It is keyed only up to high Eb, which is typical for sopranos of that era.

DEAL OF THE DAY - $300

It is the standard DV model. It has an elongated window. This mouthpiece has been worked on very lightly in the baffle area. The work was done by a very accomplished professional player and university saxophone professor.

The M/O series combines the best attributes of two of Vandoren's most popular ligatures.the "Masters" and "Optimum" models.This is a light weight inverted ligature (ala the Masters model), but it tightens via a single screw (ala the Optimum model).

This is an old one (from the late 1960's or early 70's), made out of aluminum. A lot of players like these better than the new plastic ones because they hold your reed on a perfectly flat surface.

DEAL OF THE DAY - $40

It is made of hard rubber, not plastic. This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. The rubber is a bit faded/discolored from age, but the logo is clear.

This one is stamped with a small "c" on the side. It has one ring up, and three down, with the Buffet logo in between. These are said to be made from Chedeville blanks. This mouthpieceis in excellent condition.
