Monday evening stitching 🩷

Life has been busy lately. Summer is typically a time when I get to slow down. But this year it seems busier than ever and I haven’t allowed myself to slow down enough.

On Monday evening, I grabbed Chevy and my knitting and headed out to the lake. We sat on the bluff while I cast on this hat, and it was exactly what I needed. ☺️ I’m hoping to make time for more evenings like this before summer slips away.

Also… I couldn’t help but notice this malabrigo Rasta was a pretty perfect match for the sky 🩷

I’ve been waiting over a year to cast on with this yarn..

I first saw Nuvola from 𝐷𝐻𝐺 𝐷𝑦𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝐺𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑦 at h+h last year and couldn’t stop thinking about it. The texture, the colors…it completely stuck with me.

So this year, we brought the entire color line into the shop 😍 Fiber Fever Yarn Shop

I’m knitting the Tolsta Tank by Rebecca and this slubby cotton blend is everything I hoped it would be - lightweight, airy, and full of beautiful texture without any extra effort.

Has a yarn ever lived rent-free in your head before you finally cast it on? 😅

Our first Open Stitching at Vendetta Coffee Bar was such a good time 🧶☕️ So we’re making it a thing.

Join us every 3rd Friday of the month for stitching, sipping, and good company.
