It’s not too late to be part of Purple Pumpkins.
There’s something powerful about watching little hands paint these pumpkins, knowing that soon they’ll be placed throughout our downtown communities carrying a message much bigger than they are.
Each purple pumpkin is sponsored by someone in our community who chooses to stand with survivors of domestic violence. It says, we see you, we believe you, and you are not alone.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month isn’t only about talking about abuse. It’s about creating communities where survivors feel supported, where healthy love is taught to the next generation, and where silence is replaced with hope.
When you sponsor a Purple Pumpkin, you’re doing more than helping us decorate our three counties. You’re helping place a visible reminder in the heart of our communities that survivors matter and support is here.
And maybe, just maybe, someone who needs that reminder will see one at exactly the right moment.
It’s not too late to sponsor a pumpkin and help us paint our communities purple.
