Go Hanna!!! πŸ’›πŸ§€πŸŽ‰πŸ’›πŸ§€πŸŽ‰

Hanna Lee () made history as the first American to win the Young Cheesemonger of the Year in 2025. Then, in June, she took home the trophy by a 31-point margin.

So, what does it take to competeβ€”and winβ€”on the international stage? We sat down with Lee to talk competition, persistence, learning on the job, and the cheese community that helped her along the way.

And now, it could be your turn.

The Young Cheesemonger of the Year competition is accepting entries through September 20. If you’re under 30 and ready to put your cheese knowledge and skills to the test, read our conversation with Hanna Lee and submit your entry for your chance to compete in CΓ³rdoba, Spain, this November.

✨ Author Spotlight: Inga Orth

For years, Inga Orth welcomed viewers into her Wisconsin farm, sharing recipes, stories, and a way of life rooted in the land. But behind the camera was a story she had never planned to tell.

In Unpasteurized Inga, she invites readers into that storyβ€”a deeply personal journey of farming, family, loss, healing, and finding her way back to herself. Woven throughout are the recipes, traditions, and moments that sustained her along the way. It's part memoir, part cookbook, and entirely authentic.

Working with Inga has been a privilege. Her openness, kindness, and willingness to trust the publishing process made this project a true collaboration.

As Inga shared:
Writing a memoir is an incredibly vulnerable thing to do, and from the very beginning, they made me feel like my voice mattered... More than anything, it has felt like a partnership with people who truly believe in my story."

We couldn't be more honored that Unpasteurized Inga found its home at Little Creek Press.
