I had one of those “only God” moments yesterday.
We’re all the way in Tucson, Arizona, far from Texas, and rushed into Holiday Beads with only about 45 minutes before they closed. The store is huge, and we barely had time to shop. Yet somehow, in that short window, I met a sweet lady named Lisa.
We started talking about Ash & Sapphire, and I shared how God placed this business on my heart after I began my walk with Him. Then we started talking about grief. Lisa shared that losing her dad led her to the Lord. I told her I could relate because losing my grandpa, who was my father figure, brought me to my knees.
I shared how some friends invited us to church one Sunday, and the pastor said to leave whatever had been weighing us down and let God in. For me, that was grief. That was the beginning of my walk with Jesus.
God has been the only thing that’s truly helped heal my grief. Don’t get me wrong, I still have days where I cry, and I miss my grandpa more than words can explain. But I’m nowhere near where I was before. Jesus has carried me through the darkest season of my life.
Out of all the places and all the people, God brought our paths together in Tucson, Az.
THAT’S MY GOD.
God took the darkest season of my life and used it to draw me closer to Him. That’s my testimony. 🙌🏼❤️
