This is my page to view all my watercolor artworks. I am self taught but have always loved art. Beth Gable is a Twin Cites local Minnesota artist.

She is a full-time nurse and mother of 2 boys. At the start of the pandemic, Beth developed a passion for watercolor. Spending most of her extracurricular classes in photography and a lifetime of drawing, the pandemic pushed her into a new medium. She fell in love with watercolor by watching painting tutorials online and building her skills through self-taught learning. Beth is drawn to watercolor

s because it allows her the challenge of letting go of controlling and dealing with the unexpected. Her paintings primarily depict the beauty of nature but contrast with industrial and moody backgrounds. This medium provides an unexpected chaos that allows her to create flowers from splashes of pigment into water. Beth seeks the extraordinary in reimagining ordinary florals. Colors of choice are often from a vintage and eclectic palette.

It always feels equal parts chaotic and deeply rewarding right before a big show. After a week of finishing touches on new paintings, prepping prints, and puzzle-piece loading the truck, everything is packed and ready for Friday morning setup!

I’ll be at the Uptown Art Fair all weekend long set up right near Lake of the Isles. There's free admission, great local food, and tons of amazing art—so come enjoy the summer weather and say hello!

Everyone sees the cozy, polished booth at the art fair, but nobody tells you about the total sweat equity behind the scenes!

The week leading up to a show is pure hustle behind the scenes:
- Printing and packaging fresh prints for the display bins
- Making heavy-duty tent weights to keep everything anchored and safe
- Packing the truck down to the very last square inch
- Building the tent frame from the ground up and getting the walls secure
- Hanging each original painting, tweaking the light, and adding final touches

It’s part artist, part contractor, part logistics manager—and 100% controlled chaos.

But all of that leads to the best part... getting to share all my hard work with you in person!

Come make it worth it and stroll around Lake of the Isles, enjoy the weather, and say hi at the Uptown Art Fair!

Big News! I’m heading to the Uptown Art Fair starting Friday!

I’m so excited to share that I will be exhibiting at the 2026 Uptown Art Fair in Minneapolis! This iconic event is back and reimagined along Lake of the Isles and The Mall, bringing together 200 juried artists from across the country.

I’ll be bringing a selection of my latest watercolor paintings—including a few brand-new pieces you haven't seen yet!

The view here by Lake Minnetonka is absolutely beautiful, and the energy is buzzing as all the artists get their spaces ready. I’m unpacking some of my favorite pieces right now and putting the finishing touches on my booth!

I am incredibly honored and thrilled to share that I have been juried into three of Minnesota's premier summer art festivals for 2026! As an artist, there is nothing quite like the feeling of having your work selected by a jury of peers alongside so many talented creators. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my passion with you in person.

I've been busy preparing a fresh collection of original watercolors, hand-painted magnets/bookmarks, and archival-quality prints. Mark your calendars—I would love to see you at the booth this summer!
