From July 24 through August 15, we'll be open every day!

Extended Shop Hop Hours at City Blocks (through August 15)
Monday - Saturday, 10am-5pm
Thursday, 10am-7pm
Sunday, Noon-5pm

Ready to meet your sewing machine? Take our new class, GET TO KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE, on July 26 from noon to 2pm.

This two-hour class introduces you to your own sewing machine so you can be the best of friends. It's a great introduction to sewing and is essential for preparing to start your first quilt.

You will learn:
sewing machine parts
how to thread your machine
how to wind a bobbin
how to sew a quarter inch seam

The 2026 Minnesota Quilt Show is looking for volunteers and right now we’re a little short on helping hands. From admissions, set-up to special events, there’s a place for everyone to help the show come together.

Because when it comes to putting on a quilt show this big… 🎵 “I get by with a little help from my friends…” 🎵

Volunteering is a great way to meet fellow quilters, be part of the excitement and help create an unforgettable event for our community. Many hands truly do make light work.

🎵 “All you need is love”… and maybe a volunteer shift or two 🎵
