*updated* Northland Monster truck Club is getting a class and rule set update. We are planning on the following classes with very similar rules to NRCTPA and Offtrack RC. Our 2026/27 season will be at Dollar Hobbyz Raceway! Official class list with rules will be posted soon.

All classes 2S Lipo:

1. Pro Mod: you know it and love it!

2. *updated* Ultra Mod/challenger. But I’m changing the name to “Scale MT” since that’s what the class is about and we will follow NRCTPA Ultra Mod rules. It's honestly so fun to race this class with this rule set!

3. Retro (Stage 2.5): allowing clods, freestyle RC and JC Reactors to race together. Rules will be very similar or identical to Offtrack’s Super Leaf.

4. Retro 12. A class for wheely king/monster king/mt12 based trucks with shock to axle and limited motors. Current rules are on Northland but will likely be updated soon.

5. Kids class will be developed. Since this is a solid axle club my thoughts are it should be HPI Monster Kings and MT12s since they are easier to drive and work on than minis.

Subject to change as we work on our new season and classes. Will probably be wiggle room for a while until everything is locked in.

Official class list and rules will be posted on Northland MTC fb page and TeamPRP fb page and teamprpracing.com/events as soon as we have them ready.

Race 1 at Dollar Hobbyz is scheduled for Saturday September 19th. Doors I believe are at 10am with racing at 2pm. And I think we may do competitors only open practice at 12:30pm.

Dollar Hobbyz will be setting up the track Friday mornings before our monthly race days and available for all to try. Stay tuned for the updates!

Final prototype pieces for my BAR axle kits are arriving and everything is coming together wonderfully now! I’m waiting on updated carbon parts coming in later this month and after that will have more news! Stay tuned. 😎

I go to the coffee shop to take a break and draw but then I scroll Facebook first and see all the awesome RC stuff and get inspired to get back to the office and draw up more RC parts! 😅🤣. The Team PRP shop is now closed until after my vacation. You can still order but I won’t be shipping until after the 28th.
