Happy October!
This is my absolute favorite time of the year. The air is crisp. The leaves are changing color. And I'm squirreling around the studio prepping for the upcoming holiday season. It's the best.
But this month also marks another one of my favorite fall rituals: the Vintage Fall Crawl! (https://www.vintagefallcrawl.com/) From October 1 to October 31, you can explore 20 women-owned vintage shops throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul, collecting a passport stamp at each stop. And for the first year ever, Flicker & Fizz fans can get a front row seat to all the action through my studio roomie, AudreyRose Vintage!
Pick up your passport at AudreyRose Vintage or any participating shop, enjoy a 10% discount, and support local women-owned businesses all while raising funds for Neighborhood House, a local non-profit whose mission is to help people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in diverse communities. Private Events + New Candle Classes
There’s something about this time of year that makes us want to cozy up with our favorite people and do something a little creative.

We recently hosted a private candle-making experience for a local couple celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary because the traditional gift for year 16 is wax - who knew?! So whether you’re celebrating something special or simply looking for a fun excuse to get together, we’d love to see you in the studio!
🗓️ Second October Class Added 🗓️
Our original October 17 candle class at noon is officially SOLD OUT, so we’ve added a second class at 3pm for anyone who wants to join us for an afternoon of candle-making!
And there’s plenty more happening that day: AudreyRose Vintage will be hosting their monthly Maker’s Market, along with Vintage Fall Crawl festivities throughout the neighborhood. So come make a candle, do some vintage shopping, and make a whole afternoon of it!

Join us on November 7 as we unveil our newest holiday candle collection in the studio—and, for those who can’t make it in person, the collection will launch online that same day.
Consider this your early heads-up: mark your calendar, start making your holiday wish list, and get ready for a little vintage holiday sparkle. More details coming soon but you better believe the holiday punch bowl will be making a return appearance!
