I think this might be my favorite launch I’ve ever done.

The Opal Lab just keeps growing, and somehow every new piece makes me fall in love with it all over again.

Tiny 3mm opals. Bold 5mm color. Studs you can mix + match. Rings made for stacking. Flowers covered in opals. And SO. MUCH. COLOR.

This collection is everything I wanted the Opal Lab to be — playful, colorful, a little unexpected, and completely yours.

One Lily Pulitzer dress.

I started by matching the colors in this dress, had you vote on the layout, and this is the final design.

This is exactly why I love working with lab opals. With so many colors to choose from, almost anything can become inspiration—your favorite outfit, a sunset, flowers, or a photo that means something to you.

I’m thinking about offering a new service where you send me a photo, and I’ll create a custom pair of hoops, bracelet, or necklace inspired by its colors.

A brand-new Lily Pulitzer dress for $18? Yes, please.

But instead of just wearing it… I wanted to see if I could turn its colors into Opal Lab jewelry.

POV: I bought a Lily Pulitzer dress… and immediately started matching opals to it.

I actually have a new idea I’m really excited about…

What if you could send me a photo—your favorite outfit, a sunset, flowers, your vacation, literally anything—and I turned those colors into custom Opal Lab jewelry?

So naturally, I’m starting with this dress.

(Also… anyone else ever walk into Plato’s Closet with bags to sell, only for them to buy one item… and then somehow you leave spending more than you made? 😅 They bought one thing for $2, but I found this brand-new Lily Pulitzer dress for $18, so technically only $16 after my store credit. math.

Should I design a necklace for this dress?!
