Formerly Petersen's Flowers, Fleurs de Lee is a local florist and plant shop specializing in weddings, funerals, and special events.

Come visit us today, and take some fresh flowers from our freezer home with you! Our Story

Originally called Petersen Flowers, our business has operated since 1989 at the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market. In 1995, we opened our storefront in order to service customers year round. In July of 2020 the business was sold to Darwin Lee a former Minneapolis Public School Teacher. The only changes you will notice are the atmosphere inside the store, the name of the store, (Fleurs de Lee) and the overly friendly shop dog, Otto. Otto is there most days and is happy to greet you at the door and to have you pet him. Come in and hand pick your own bouquet from our walk in cooler. It’s just like the Farmer’s Market everyday. We are here to help with your floral selection and arranging. You may also give us a call for local delivery. Whatever your mood, we are devoted to providing you with outstanding customer service. We pride ourselves in satisfying your needs and look forward to serving you.

There’s no better way to celebrate Small Business Saturday than by stopping by Fleurs de Lee on Saturday, November 25th from 12:00-2:00 for pictures with the Snow Sisters and Ice Harvester! Pick up a fresh Christmas Tree from our giant lot full of different sizes and varieties, plus swags, evergreen bundles, and decor for winter planter pots!

Welcome to the page of Fleurs de Lee, a small flower shop tucked into the heart of South Minneapolis!

Darwin Lee, owner and head florist, bought the shop formerly known as Peterson Flowers in May of 2020, and what a year we have had! From a giant Christmas tree sale to countless bouquets to Minneapolis residents, we have done it all, and are happy to assist you in flowers for weddings, funerals, special events, or just to brighten up the kitchen table.
