🍫 PSA: Not all chocolate is created equal, and it’s not just about what’s in it, it’s about who suffered to make it!

Ethique Nouveau now only sells chocolate that’s been vetted by the Food Empowerment Project, because animal liberation and human liberation are not separate fights. You can’t call something “cruelty-free” if it was harvested through child labor or modern slavery.

FEP has done the deep-dive research most of us don’t have time for, digging into which companies are sourcing cacao from regions where the worst forms of child labor and trafficking are rampant.
