Independent Bookstore Day 2026
We had an estimated 1000 people come through the doors to get their passport booklets stamped and record single day sales as well. People were excited and enthusiastic about books and reading. We not only sold a lot of books, we gave away a few hundred, mostly books we've published over the years. It was an exhausting day (I had little to no energy yesterday and was happy to lie around the house) but it was a very good day. Thanks to everyone who made it so. greg

Independent Bookstore Day has been a smashing success - unbelievable crowds in the first two hours. Everybody has been so patient and kind and supportive. I'm so stoked to see such interest in books and reading. It gives me hope for the future of reading.
