Open 9-6 Sat-Sun. The “Residence” is evolving into our design studio where our maximalism and staging/capture methodology and skills can be tested and refined. This photo and today is the in process phase and there is a lot more to pack up here. Today is a phase change. One day only conceptual installation from Brian Wilcox because the space is here today and I have some things to say (on offer). In person only or Brian Wilcox (private Brian feed) where I will be and can be more of myself.

Ok, next up will be a full building scan front to back top to bottom so you can see how I fit all of findfurnish into the upper and lower spaces and are moving toward a massive smalls processing hub in the big room. Progress. Real and documented.

Findfurnish is honored to host: The Radical Act of Having Each Other’s Back, a group exhibition featuring 26 Minnesota artists responding to themes of community, resilience, identity, migration, memory, and collective care.

🗓 Opening Reception: Thursday, August 27

Public Reception: 6:00 to 9:00 PM

The exhibition will be on view:
August 29 - September 20

Open Wednesdays through Sundays, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Sound on. Show up August 27th. Details in a post specific to the announcement shortly. This is a wrapping up of the phase where I am trying like hell to figuring out how to make this work after all that came at us over these last few years and especially what arrived at our doorsteps this January.

I spoke out then and will again and with the confidence of the land and property made available through commerce. I’m only able to make this space available by asking once here for your participation in the store and I aim to make that as easy and fun as possible. Not asking for anything other than your attention, presence and chance to compel you to leave with something you found here. Be it an impression from some incredible art (most important) or, something that can remind you of that time here, or fills a specific need in your life.

This is an absolute honor and privilege to host this Exhibition and look forward to sharing more details later today here.

For now, just know the hard part of this year is done for me, Brian Wilcox. And now, we can build again.

Love to all who have sustained me and this place for coming up on 15 years. ❤️ let’s make it worth it again by hosting great art and artists here and all of us welcoming them and their voices and very very protected first amendment rights here in this building. You can be sure of that.
