Most of my time is spent alone, in the studio… it is a very vulnerable kind of quiet many days where I am uncertain about what the heck i’m doing! Making ceramics means pouring hours of raw focus, intention, and heart into hundreds of pieces of clay—all without knowing if anyone will ever connect with it, like it, or take it home.
Yet here I am still (semi monotonously) throwing clay every day, keeping at it! And today made me feel so full with the
When a piece leaves my hands and enters yours, it completes a circle. A mug isn’t just a static object sitting on a shelf; it becomes a shared act of stewardship. I pour everything I have into shaping a durable, beautiful vessel out of a ball of clay, and then you bring it into your morning, filling it with warmth to start your day.
Seeing work that started as an uncertain moment at the wheel find its place in your daily rituals—holding your morning coffee or tea, grounding your day, marking special moments—is the most fulfilling part of what I do.
