The University of Minnesota ReUse Program collects surplus office furniture, supplies, equipment and parts from throughout the Twin Cities Campus and makes them available to University departments or individuals for purchase. Due to Welcome Week and related activities, the UMN Reuse Program will be closed to ALL shopping, both public and departmental, from Monday, August 31st - Sunday, September 6th, 2026.

We will be open for drop offs and pick ups, including Student Storage, Monday, August 31st - Friday, September 6th, 8:00 - 3:30, and Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, 10 - 4.

We will be closed for all operations Monday, September 7th, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

We will resume normal operation Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.

The University of Minnesota ReUse Warehouse is open to the public Thursdays 8:30am - 5pm, Fridays 8:30am - 4pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm.

NOTE: We are no longer open on Sundays.

We sell surplus University of Minnesota property, materials, cool things, not so cool things, and pretty much everything else the University doesn't have a use for. Our mission is to divert this material from the waste stream.

We accept major credit cards, debit cars and contactless payment like Google Pay,
Apple Pay and Tap. We cannot accept Venmo, Paypal, Zelle or similar.
