Did you know you can keep planting right up until the ground freezes? 🍂🌱

October is still one of the best times to add new interest to your landscape! Even as air temperatures drop, the soil retains warmth, allowing roots to continue growing and establishing themselves. With cooler temperatures, less intense sunlight, and typically more consistent moisture, plants experience less stress than they would during the heat of summer.

And with sunny days still lingering, it’s a great time to get outside and enjoy the garden.

PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST! 🎃🎨

Join us this Saturday, October 10th, for Oktoberfest at Tangletown Gardens and Wise Acre Eatery.

Carve it. Paint it. Bedazzle it. Or surprise us with something totally unexpected. Every participant wins $10 in Tanglebucks, and top prizes total $200 in Tangletown + Wise Acre gift cards.

Drop off your pumpkin between 9AM - 1PM on Saturday. Winners will be announced at 2PM in the Biergarten, with lively games, contests, music, and plenty of fall family fun!
