The Fossen family wanted a fish fry for the 4th of July!! Took a bit for the fish to wake up but early afternoon they fired!! Bottom bouncing and spinners with a half a crawler did the trick! Seemed like speed was a big deal today SLOW as you could go and still make the spinner spin!!

Fishing report !! Water temps are on the rise again, still fighting up and down weather systems. Bottom bouncing has been the best last few days, some days grinding on em real hard, some days one here one there🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Hasn’t been much of a steady pattern, bite windows are kinda weird!! Having either a bunch of spots or a spot to yourself seems to produce on any given day!!

Fishing report!! Got a bit chilly around here big wind and prarie thunder storms ruled the week!! Fish seemed to act accordingly, upper 60’s and even low 70 water temps had em going on some summer patterns (bottom bouncers) 5-6 days ago and the water temp went back down to low 60’s in the morning and has been topping out at mid 60’s at best during the day!! Best catches have been bobbers in the morning and hoping for a couple degrees in the afternoon🤞 to get em back to the spinner bite! Having a bunch of spots seems to work last couple days, 1-3 fish and move on!!

Followed out some big thunderstorms right away in the morning thinking it would be tough and to my surprise, the fish were biting ! Waited out the wind, scratching away here and there, and took advantage of the dirty water from the big wind in the afternoon and put it to them !!! Jerk baits ruled the day standard white and black and gold were the usual but a dark horse purple was the hot one 🎣🎣
