Out here at Catfish Days until 4pm! As of posting, we have 3 fishing rods left! That makes 64 fishing rods gifted to kids this year.

Don't forget, if you have any fishing rods that are outgrown, unused, or inherited that you dont need, we will take them and gift them out! Robin will fix any broken eyes and tips before we gift them out.

Don't forget! Tomorrow is the Catfish Days vendor market on Water St in downtown Wilmington. Thanks to a donation from a local angler, we have over 10 fishing rods and 4 tackle boxes to give away to kids! Most of them are Ugly Stik brand, and look brand new. If your child is wanting or needing a new reel, we have about two dozen reels they can choose from, both spinning and baitcaster reels!

Have old, unused, or outgrown fishing equipment? We'll take it and distribute them out to local kids!

Catfish Days is this weekend! We'll be there with everything you'll need to walk from the fest, and throw a line into the river just down the block! Saturday from 9-4, on Water Street in downtown Wilmington. Big Back Baits will be sending some awesome new mice, and maybe a chipmunk or two.

We don't have any fishing rods to give out at the moment, but I will try my best to have some to give away for the kids! If you have any you'd like to donate, please reach out! We can either come pick them up from you, or you can bring them directly to the fest!

Today, until 2 pm! Come explore the Channahon Farmers Market at Tractor Supply Co.. we have about 10 fushing rods available, and 3 tackle boxes, all FREE for kids!

We have a fresh supply of mice from Big Back Baits, a crowd favorite! And Robin is bringing a new supply of lures as well!

There's live music, adult libations, food trucks, fresh produce and baked goods, and Minooka Fire Dept is here with an ambulance and fire truck for kids to explore!

Thanks to all of the generous donations we've recieved over the last few shows, Robin was able to get just over 10 fishing rods repaired to give away to kids tomorrow at the Channahon Farmers Market at Tractor Supply Co.!

There will also be Touch-a-truck from Minooka Fire Department, live music, kids activities, coffee, adult beverages, food trucks, local produce, adoptable dogs, fresh baked goods, and so much more from over 50 vendors.

Thank you to all the patrons who came out to Tractor Supply on July 5th! Our next event is July 19th, again at Tractor Supply Co. for the Touch A Truck Farmers Market! We hope to have more fishing rods to hand out to kids!

If you or someone you know have fishing rods to declutter, please keep us in mind so we can give them new homes and get more kids outdoors!

We'll be at Tractor Supply Co. this coming Sunday. Keep the America party going by coming to shop tons of great vendors, and see some adoptable dogs. We will have about a dozen fishing rods and a few tackle boxes for some lucky kids! Stop by early to get one for your kiddo. Kids must be present, and kids are anyone who has not graduated high school yet. We'll also have all our fishing gear for sale, too. And Big Back Baits might have some more mice available. We sold 3 this past Sunday!
