What’s your go to leader size? 👀

For us, that sweet spot seems to be somewhere in the 60–80lb range. Some guys prefer lighter, while others won’t throw anything under 120lb.

Whatever your style is, fish heavy enough to get the job done. Sacrificing a bite or two from downsizing is a whole lot better than fraying off and leaving hooks or lures behind in a fish. 🤙🔥

The guys took a different approach on the Bluefin grounds. 👀

They left the traditional metal jigs behind and went straight to soft plastics. The gamble paid off the 8” Straight Tail got it done 🤙🔥

Our September meeting is on Wednesday 9/16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Pierce Yacht Club.
Our special guest speaker will be Caleb Hood with NLBN (No Live Bait Needed), who will talk about snook and tarpon. His favorite fishing is tarpon fishing. He fishes from Miami to Sebastian. He uses mainly artificials and can talk about his love of fishing on our beautiful waters.

As usual, we will have food and refreshments (donations accepted), 50/50 and door prizes. Hope you can make it!
