It’s been a while since I’ve posted but our lives were left in utter ruin almost a year ago, so please accept last night’s dinner photos as a formal apology.

Lamb, beans (in my late wife’s heart shaped cocotte) and rice (in the pan that survived 2 hurricanes).

If you’ve never bought a pan from us rest assured...

We cook with each of our pans until the day they go home.

You might pay more for Collectible Cast Iron but the care that goes into making our vintage pans cook better than their cheaper, modern counterparts is unmatched and worth every penny.

Three new irons in the fire. We have a stack of Wagner 8’s and a couple of 10’s. Will be ready to vend at the Mishawaka farmers market in the spring!

Skillet is in very good used condition, very minor wobble on glass top stove. GOOD LUCK!

Hey y’all...

Beef tallow is like butter but cleaner and richer and quite honestly, cheaper. It has awesome health benefits and has a higher smoke point which is great for frying or searing protein.
..and now, we are offering it for sale.

In the past, we have paid upwards of $13 for 11 oz of tallow and I am able to produce it and offer it at $12 for 24 oz.

That’s DOUBLE the volume for a dollar LESS.

If you are interested, let me know.

Oh how I wish that I had documented this one. 🥰
Tomato Parmesan tortellini soup.
Hand made tomato soup LOADED with fresh Italian herbs and spices, and a 2 oz block of Parmesan melted into it. 🤤
