After making the move to Mishawaka, we’re so happy to be part of the Historic Downtown Mishawaka community and even happier to call this neighborhood home.

What a weekend!!!

Now that the dust has settled, we can finally say thank you.

To everyone who came from near and far to celebrate the grand opening of Bee Joyful Apothecary, thank you for showing up for us and this dream that has been part of my life for so many years.

Kim, Naomi, Theresa, Pat, Barbara, Thomas and Tracy… thank you for making the trip. It meant the absolute world to us.

To our very first customer… you’ll forever be part of Bee Joyful history! We can’t wait to see you again.

To our landlords, thank you for believing in us and supporting us!

To my sweet Ellie and Nick… thank you for helping through all the chaos and making our weekend so special. Ellie has been here from the very beginning, and she was here for this brand-new beginning. 🐝💛🌎

To all of our kids, near and far… this business began because of family, and there is a piece of each of you in it. Aubrey, Cameron, Drake, Ellie, Fletcher, Jacob, Lucas, Nathan & Grace…love you to pieces.

And then there is James.

I may have started Bee Joyful many years ago, but when it was time for a new chapter, I wasn’t sure what the dream looked like anymore.

You were.

You said you couldn’t let my dream die. Somewhere along the way, it became your dream too.

You stood beside me through the rebuilding, the painting, the cleaning, that floor…the making, the stressing, the laughing and the occasional wondering if we’d completely lost our minds.

I cannot imagine standing here today with anyone else beside me. Thank you for giving Bee Joyful another beginning.

So here we are.

A new town. A new building. A new chapter. The same big dream.

We’re so excited to become part of the Mishawaka/South Bend community.

And if you think the grand opening was the finish line…

Oh, honey. We’re just getting started.

The Swedish Dish Cloth is back, darling, and she’s dressed for the occasion!
