Please check this out for one of our hip strip “families”!

Friends, one of Bernice's family members is in need right now. Our customer service manger, Tamara McGinley, and her children just said farewell to her husband for the rest of 2020. Timothy Schehl has had to relocate to SLC for pre-op procedures and a much-needed kidney transplant. Due to the pandemic, Tim must isolate for weeks before and after his surgeries. He just moved into an apartment in Salt Lake so they are now responsible for two rent payments. Tamara has opted to stay in Missoula so that she may continue to work and the kids are able to stay in their "bubble" for safe home-schooling. Nothing about this situation is ideal except for the fact that Tim found a perfect donor match. (Yay!) We're all rooting for his healthy and safe return to Missoula. Tim and Tamara are just shy of $1,400 from meeting their fundraising goal. If you can spare a few bucks and/or feel compelled to share this post, I KNOW they'd appreciate it. They’re REALLY good humans. Donation link is below:
Thank you, Missy 💜

Who knows some visionary young people?

Who knows some visionary young people?

In 2001, Fr. Jim Hogan challenged the community to look to young people as we struggle to find peace in our world. He believed that our children and young adults could offer us an inspiring perspective. Now the search is on for the stories of peacemaking being lived out in our midst because it is these real life experiences that truly challenge and inspire us to find peace in our world.

Please submit your nomination for a young person who, in their home, school and/or community, has shown us a vision of what peace and peacemaking looks like. This person should be,
- Age 5-18
- Committed to peace, justice, and/or environmental sustainability.
- Nominee(s) may be a group or individual
- A role model among their peers who walks the walk of nonviolence, social justice, and sustainability.
