Hello,
I hope you're all enjoying the dog days of Summer. It's been a wonderful season up here in Montana. Back in the water, and feeling the beat again. It's been a while since I've had a proper Fall climbing season, but I'm eager to chase my passion once more.

Last July I created the 'Clouds & Dirt' collection with a new chalk bucket design. It's one of my best designs, especially in the way that it kept the dream alive in a make-or-break moment. Life feels more like sailing this Summer, but I'd be lying if I didn't say some days are rough waters. There's a clear horizon for TUFA, and I just have to keep sailing.

I hope you're well on your journey.

This is the lightest weight structured chalk bag made.

32 grams. Built with Ultra80X — a state of the art kite & wing laminate from Challenge Sailcloth, with a woven UHMWPE and a tight matrix of UHMWPE inserts for dimensional stability and structure.

Ultralight bags in this weight class are typically silpoly, and they collapse and fight your hand on the way in. This one holds its shape.

Features an angled top, stiff opening brim, ergonomically tapered body, single wrap ultralight construction. Reflective drawcord, brass grommet, elastic brush holder and includea soft-on-skin herringbone belt. Bag 32g, belt 18g.

Made at the request of Ben ,who wanted the least possible weight on long approaches in the North Cascades.

Limited edition run of 30 pieces.

The XX Flat Bag is built with Ultralight UHMWPE laminates, YKK AquaGuard zipper, herringbone webbing, reflective cord pull.

Introducing the Modular Core 1.7.

A new construction for the Core Sling — removable strap, dual tab system. Side tabs run it cross-body. Vertical tabs drop it to a low side carry, or mount it to shoulder straps and pack interiors with compatible hardware. Strip the strap and it’s a standalone pouch.

Less contact with the body, more airflow. Built for hot, humid places.

The original Winged construction stays in the lineup — still the stable option for waist carry and active movement.

Both builds are cut from Ultra200X, Challenge Sailcloth’s strongest fabric for its weight. Six limited colorways: Porcelain White, Graphite Gray, Obsidian Black, Electric Blue, Fuchsia Pink, Mandarin Orange. Five yards of each.

The best fast-and-light pack we’ve ever built — $100 off through the Fourth.

This week I’m cutting and sewing a limited batch of the Mochilla 30 in Glacier Grey. Ultra100X — the lightest and strongest fabric at its weight, and waterproof. Under a pound. Sits high above the harness, single-pull cinch, removable foam frame that doubles as a bivy pad. When this batch is gone, it’s gone.
