Every morning, I clean my daughter’s horse stall, feed her, and turn her out. 🐴

But TODAY… I decided to risk my life and rinse this horse down to cool her off before pasture. (Risk my life because I’ve never done this alone, I just assist Riley Madison when she does it). 😂 I conditioned her, put fly spray on her, brushed her down, and had her looking CLEAN.

She walked into the pasture…

…and immediately rolled around in the DIRT. 😐

THE DISRESPECT. 😂😂😂

Anyway, this is the life of a reseller who somehow became a horse-stall-cleaning, horse-grooming, inventory-listing mama. 🤣

And just in case y’all forgot… Go Go Chic is STILL very much in business! 👗🛍️

YES, I’m still here! And YES, I’m still selling women’s pre-loved, vintage, and new clothing in sizes 0–3X at prices you’re going to love! 👗🛍️

But y’all… I’m also a momma. And this momma has a very active 15-year-old who just started a new school AND decided to play volleyball. 😩😂

Oh, and did I mention she has a HORSE?! 🐴

So now my mornings look a little something like this: drop Riley off at school → head to the barn → muck the stall → feed her → change her water → clean the aisle → brush her → turn her out to graze.

And apparently, the horse has decided I need to add “personal horse attendant” to my resume because today she did NOT want to go outside. 😂😂😂 Normally, she runs out of that stall like she has somewhere to be!

So yes… I’m trying to figure out this new schedule and squeeze my fashion life back into it. But I PROMISE, the LIVE shows are coming back soon!

My baby on her first day of high school… 🥹❤️

Okay, so technically it’s not her first day. She’s actually a sophomore. But this feels like a first day all over again.

Last year, my sweet girl made the unselfish decision to not attend high school with her classmates so she could go back and forth and help me care for her grandmother after she suffered a medical emergency.

She did virtual school and never complained. In between classes, she would check on her grandmom, help however she could, and just… show up. Shortly after that, we made a big move to Texas, and she was still going back and forth to South Carolina to help and be there for her family.

She never made it about herself. She just did what needed to be done.

So today, seeing her back in the classroom makes my heart SO happy. 🥹 I’m so proud of the young woman she is becoming.

My prayer for you this year is that God surrounds you with the right friends—good, genuine friends who love you, encourage you, and bring out the best in you. May you excel in all that you do, and may God bless every step you take.

You have such a kind and compassionate heart, baby girl. God sees the way you show up for others and put yourself aside.

Now it’s your turn to have an AMAZING year. ❤️

Happy birthday to my little princess. My little barbie, my little sunshine, my little me, my heart beat… I love me some you! When you were a baby I always told you how much I like you. As a mother I have to love you but I really really like you! You bring so much joy to our lives, and have been such an amazing daughter. Continue to grow in Christ and watch how he will bless your every step. Please know that we love you and celebrate you not only today, but everyday! I can not believe you are 15!!!! You were just born the other day! 😩😩😩😩

Before you just ‘BUY IT,’ consider shopping resale instead of retail.

I stopped by a thrift store today and noticed they had switched to self-checkout only. There was no other way to pay. 🤔

They had two employees walking around helping customers at each station, and if you only had a few items, they let you check out on your own. There wasn’t a line when I was there, but it got me thinking…

Do you think self-checkout is a good idea for thrift stores, or nah? 👀
