My buddy Tim, who runs an antique shop in West Virginia, sent me three antique dolls for Scotty's Toy Shop.

They're adorable. They're creepy. And I'm fairly certain at least one of them moves when nobody's looking. 😂

I have absolutely NO idea how old they are, but one thing is certain...

Gordita is now in charge of paranormal investigations. 🦖

🚨 SCOTTY'S BACK… AND SO ARE THE TOYS!

Vacation is over, Scotty is back at the shop, and apparently while he was gone A TON OF NEW STUFF ARRIVED! 😂

We've got new G.I. Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, the G.I. Joe × TMNT crossover and a whole lot more hitting the shelves!

And there are some BIG ones in this batch, including Hooded Cobra Commander and Sgt. Slaughter with his Triple T Tank! 💥

So if you haven't stopped by Scotty's Toy Shop lately, you might want to fix that. The shelves have changed quite a bit while I was gone!

Scotty and Gordita are EXHAUSTED, the booth is packed up, and somehow we managed to get everything back into the van!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Scotty’s Toy Shop, adopted a toy, dug for treasure, took a picture, talked toys with us, or just came by to say hello. Y’all made this weekend an absolute blast.

And a HUGE thank you to James and everyone behind the Rocket City Toy & Comic Expo for putting together such a fantastic show and making us feel so welcome.

It’s the final day of the Rocket City Toy & Comic Expo!

Scotty’s Toy Shop is here TODAY from 10AM–4PM, and this is your last chance to see us in Huntsville until 2027! 🚀

We’ve still got toys looking for forever homes, treasures hiding in the Dig Bins, and apparently Gordita has appointed himself official Dig Bin Supervisor.

His instructions are simple:

Thank you, Huntsville, for an absolutely incredible weekend. Now let’s see how much more treasure y’all can find before we pack this whole crazy toy shop back into the U-Haul!

Day One at Rocket City and the Scotty’s Toy Shop Dig Bins were an absolute HIT!

We asked some of our treasure hunters to grab a sign after they dug through the bins, and somehow we ended up with 20 of these photos. 😂

“I came to dig.”
“I found treasure.”
“I went in looking for one toy…”

That last one may have been a lie for several people. 😂

This is exactly what toy hunting should be — digging around, finding something unexpected, and having FUN doing it.

Thanks for making our first Rocket City Dig Bin Adventure such a blast!

Yep. We have MORE Happy Adoptions from the Rocket City Toy & Comic Expo!

And we're circling back to those Dig Bins too, because y'all have been DIGGING DEEP and finding treasure all day. There is something incredibly satisfying about watching somebody rummage through a bin and suddenly go, “OH! I NEED THIS!”

Along with the Dig Bin treasures, we've got even more toys heading off to their new forever homes with some very happy collectors.

Seriously, thank you. We brought a LOT of toys to Huntsville, and watching so many of them leave with excited new owners is exactly why we do this.

And remember: if there ends up being a Part Five, blame Facebook. Not me. 😂

When we started putting together the Dig Bins, the idea was pretty simple:

Dig deep. Find treasure.

Well… y'all understood the assignment. 😂

All day at the Rocket City Toy & Comic Expo, people have been digging through bins full of figures, parts, accessories and all kinds of wonderfully random toy goodness looking for that one little treasure they didn't know they needed.

And we LOVE IT.

Sometimes toy hunting shouldn't be neat and organized. Sometimes you need to roll up your sleeves, start digging and see what you discover.

Judging by how many people we've had gathered around these bins all day…

I think the Dig Bins are here to stay. 😎🪏

What do Star Wars, superheroes, monsters, cartoons, and whatever other wonderfully random toys we managed to send home today have in common?

THEY GOT ADOPTED! 😂

Our third batch of Happy Adoptions from the Rocket City Toy & Comic Expo is a little bit of EVERYTHING — which is pretty much how we like it at Scotty's Toy Shop.

Different generations. Different fandoms. Different toys. Same look on somebody's face when they find the thing they didn't know they needed until they saw it.

That's the good stuff. ❤️

Thank you to everybody who stopped by, hunted through the booth, talked toys with us, and gave something cool a brand-new forever home.

EVERYONE, MEET TJ — THE NEW LEADER OF THE AUTOBOTS! 🫡

TJ has received the Matrix of Leadership, so as far as Scotty's Toy Shop is concerned, it's official. Please direct all future Cybertronian matters to him. 😂

And TJ wasn't alone! Transformers fans showed up BIG today, with bots of all shapes and sizes heading off to their new forever homes.

Thank you to TJ and everyone who adopted a Transformer from us today! Seeing people get excited about their new toys is exactly why we love doing these shows.
