Hey y’all, my name is Kaitlyn Howard. 👋🏽
Some of you may know me by a different name. Daughter. Sister. Friend. But out of every name I’ve ever been called, “Mama” is my favorite.
I’m a small town girl from Semmes, Alabama, and I love every bit of that. Ball games on Friday nights, chasing sunsets near the water, and finding the beauty in a life that doesn’t ask for much. Just presence, faith, and the people you love most.
Growing up, I was always encouraged to dream big. The sky was the limit, they said. For years I turned that over in my mind, wondering what that dream life would actually look like. Not just for me, but for that sweet, brown-eyed, curly-haired boy who calls me by my favorite name.
Kameron is my why. Every early morning, every side hustle, everything I do is for him. He deserves a life built with intention, and I made up my mind that I was going to be the one to build it.
That’s where Goobers comes in. 🥜
Goobers Boiled Peanuts is my dream made real. A business built from scratch by a single mom who refused to stop believing in what God placed on her heart. I don’t want anyone to think these are “just peanuts.” They’re slow-cooked, gourmet, and made with everything I’ve got. Every single batch.
Kam and I are rooted in our faith and our church family at Refuge Church in Mobile. That foundation is what carried me to this moment, and it’s what I carry into everything I do, including every pot I cook.
We’re just getting started, and I am so grateful you’re here for it.
Our first event will be on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the Mobile Museum of Art Food Truck Festival!
Come find us, come hungry, and know that when you support Goobers, you’re not just buying a snack. You’re part of the dream. 🤍
