Looks like it will be a pleasant 85 degrees tomorrow at 8 am for our group ride! Make sure you bring plenty of hydration. As we get larger groups we will make more stops to make sure we are together and so we can hydrate. Ride lasts about an hour. See you all at 8 am at the shop.

It’s hot and humid out so that must mean it’s Wednesday LoDa group ride night. Make sure to have hydration for the ride. As a reminder the ride rolls from Loda Bier Garten at 6:30 pm. We ride to Nixons for a refreshment and/or food. Many people head home from Nixons but there is always a group that heads back downtown. As it’s getting darker earlier make sure to have lights for the journey back. Jesse promises his bike won’t be screaming every time he stops tonight.

Goals don’t have to be a set number of miles, it can be how many days a week or month you want to ride. Design yours to keep you excited, engaged, and looking forward to working on achieving them. Chris and Jesse set miles and days riding goals, but this morning on their commute they both cut loose and got going hitting 22 MPH only the cop car in the lane brought the fun rush to a stop. Jesse was secretly wondering if they could get speeding tickets. Set goals, have fun, and ride.

Every day is “perfect riding weather” but many prefer the Fall weather for riding. Those days are coming. Make sure bike is ready for fun rides. If it hasn’t had service or been ridden in a while, it may need some love. Be ride ready!

In case you forgot tomorrow is our group ride. We leave the shop at 8 am. Depending on the size of the group it should take around an hour. It’s around a 10 mile journey through downtown, Midtown, Leinkauf, and Oakleigh. All rider skills are welcome. We always love seeing new faces. Looks like it will be a nice warm ride. Bring hydration and be prepared to socialize.

This beautiful bike gets a lot of flirting but hasn’t been asked out on a date. She’s starting to have self doubts about how beautiful she is. She’s one of our sale bikes and promises to open your drinks when you are riding. Stop in, admire her beauty, and take her home.

Looks like no rain is forecasted for our ride tonight. Hopefully James West will be leading us tonight, it’s too much responsibility for Jesse. 😂 The ride leaves Lodabiergarten Mobile, Al at 6:30 pm and heads over to Nixon’s for drinks or dinner or just admiring each other’s bikes. Many riders head to their homes and a group heads back downtown. It’s going to be a steamy evening so bring hydration before making it to Nixon’s for more.

We talked a few weeks ago about setting goals. It’s a new month, how are you doing with your monthly goal? At the shop we’ve taken advantage of the pleasant mornings to get a nice start on our goals. One way to get a jump on goals are with group rides and we are fortunate to have different ones almost everyday and night of the week. Let’s crush our goals together!
