5 things we look for before anything hits the Threads floor.

01. Fabric quality. Pilling, thinning, or anything that feels cheap on the hanger gets sent back immediately. I can tell within seconds.

02. Construction. Seams, stitching, zippers, buttons. If it is coming apart it does not belong here.

03. Fit and cut. Even a beautiful piece can be the wrong shape for our floor. We think about who is actually going to wear it.

04. Condition. No stains. No odors. No snags. No exceptions.

05. Would I wear it? IF I would not put it on my own body or know whose body it would go on…it does not go on our rack.

We are picky on purpose. Because you deserve better than a gamble when you walk through our door.

Okay it is officially fall and we are so ready for your closet, honey.

Threads is now taking fall and winter pieces, and I mean the ones you actually love. Chunky knits, a good satin or lace top, wide leg denim, suede boots, a structured bag, that plaid skirt you keep swearing you will wear.

We are being picky this season and only pulling what our customers are shopping for right now, so bring us current, wearable pieces in really good shape. Beautiful texture, rich colors, modern layers, the kind of thing someone stops you to ask about.

Everything gets looked over before it goes on the floor because we only carry name brand, designer and luxury. If it is something you would be proud to hand a friend, we want it.

Drop off is Tuesday through Friday, 12 to 4:30.

Blazers and denim jackets are always welcome, bring those whenever.

Heavier coats are a one week thing this year, October 6 through 9 only, and we are asking for just 1 or 2 per person so each one gets real attention. Suede, trench coats, shackets.

Save this so you know what to dig out, then come see us.

Someone out there is about to fall in love with what has been sitting in your closet, and babe, that is my favorite part of this whole thing.
