This week: book clubs, storytime, Trunk or Treat, and OH YEAH. The release of a *certain* big book. IYKYK! Also, it's your last chance to vote on 24 hour art!

Mon, 10/26: We’re closed today, but you can shop online @ ! Our release party for A Court of Splintered Harmony begins at 9pm; books will be distributed at 12:01am!

Tues, 10/27: Open 10-6! It’s new release Tuesday! (And of course, ACOSH... ) Our after-school book club is talking about Catching Fire at 3:30 - join us! Julia’s LitFic book club starts at 6pm!

Weds, 10/28: We’re open 10 to 6! Storytime for the kiddos is at 11am! Sarah’s SciFi Horror book club meets at 6pm.

Thurs, 10/29: We’re open 10 to 6! Hannah Romantasy Club meets at 6pm!

Fri, 10/30: Sip N Spill is back! We’re open at 8 for coffee and good vibes. Our chai latte is 25% off all day. Storytime for the kiddos starts at 11am!

Sat, 10/31: We’re open at 8 for Sip N Spill, Saturday edition! Get your locally roasted coffee and load up on good vibes! Wear a costume at get 15% off your order all day long. Our kids “Trunk or Treat” runs from 4-6pm and our annual kids’ costume parade starts at 4:30pm.

I'm still frightening myself nightly with The Reformatory by Tananarive Due, which holds the coveted place on my nightstand, but I've also been enjoying the audio of Upstate by Kim van Alkemade, which publishes on 10/27. From the cover: "A grieving writer. An abandoned bookshop. A secret love story hidden in letters." Not gonna lie, it had me at "abandoned bookshop". 🙂 - Paula

Novelish is back, beginning November 1!
We're dedicating time this month to our writing projects -- no matter the genre, no matter where we are in the process.

To receive daily five-minute writing prompts, email us at [email protected] with NOVELISH in the subject line.

And if you'd like to join us in person, we're meeting four Mondays in November -- Nov. 2, 9, 23 and 30 -- from 6:30 to 8:30 to write and chat about our projects. Tickets are $5 and convert to an in-store voucher.

What better way to welcome in the holiday season than a very special Holiday themed story time?

We are so excited to welcome back Central West Ballet for Nutcracker story time ! Dancers will be here in Little Bookish in full costume showcasing the timeless classic with a storybook, ballet demonstration, and photo opportunities!

* Saturday November 14th at 3:30 p.m.
* This performance is free, but we encourage you to reserve your child's spot!
