She is a true ray of sunshine. She’s pouring her heart into curating our SPanish book selection, bringing so much love, intention and the joy of Spanish storytime to our community.
Sara feels most at home out in nature. camping, exploring, and soaking in the beauty of the outdoors. That same grounded, nuturing spirit carries into everything she does.
Her favorite reads reflect her passion and purpose, from This Bridge Called My Back to sharing El Monstruo de Colores with her children. stories that connect, uplift, and inspire across generations.
Sara’s vision for The Raven’s Perch is something truly special, to expand access to Spanish literature and create a space where more families can see themselves, their language, and their stories on the shelves.

This is Amber. She is our Media and Events Manager. She is my right hand, who helps with everything and brings in the magic.
When she has a moment to herself, Amber can be usually be found wandering through fantastical worlds. Whether that’s in a video game, between the pages of a beloved book, or across a new city with an iced coffee in hand. She also has a deep love for dance, especially ballet, which reflects her grace and creativity.
Her bookshelf is a portal to adventure, filled with favorites like the Throne of Glass series, Kingdom of Ash (specifically), Anathema and A Series of Unfortunate Events. Stories as bold, imaginative and layered as she is.

Hello, I’m Crystal, co-owner of The Raven’s Perch, along with my husband Jeff. 🐦‍⬛
The Raven’s Perch came to life thanks to my deep love of reading and a desire to find places where kids feel genuinely welcomed. As a mom, I wanted somewhere you could bring your children and your brain. A space where stories are shared, ideas are sparked, and no one minds if you’re juggling a book, a craft project, and a curious kid. Our shop offers a thoughtfully curated mix of new and used books, alongside board games, crafting supplies, and literature inspired gifts. Creating a cozy, creative space for readers, makers, and families alike.
📚 During my leisure time, you’ll find me reading, crocheting, and crafting. 📚
Our mission is simple: create a safe, inclusive space where children, parents, women, and LGBTQ+ folks can learn, grow, connect, and just be. Think of it as part reading nook, part community hub, and part “finally, a place that gets it.”
If you’re wondering what fuels all this, it’s probably books like Anathema, Alchemised, and Babel, stories that remind me how powerful words and community can be.
