Petroglyphe Gallery Petroglyphe Gallery is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. Offering the collector A fine art gallery featuring the works of over 20 artists.

Mediums include original paintings, collage, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, carved wood flutes, artsy gifts and greeting cards. The gallery is in the Danielewicz building, built in the 1850s during the goldrush days. Mokelumne Hill was once the largest town in Calaveras County and served as the county seat from 1852 to 1866. The town was devasted by a fire in the 1860s which led much of the rebuild

ing to be done in rhyolite a volcanic rock, from a nearby quarry. Many of the buildings in town survived through the decades and their aged stone presence still tell the stories of long ago. The Hotel Leger, located across the street, has been restored and still operates today as a 14 room hotel. Being a popular social destination, locals and tourists frequent the restaurant and bar.

Thank you to everyone for your support these past 15 years and for being part of our story!

Serving this community has been our greatest privilege. From hosting art workshops, offering classical music concerts, art exhibits and holiday gatherings, we have appreciated the opportunity to create unique experiences and meaningful connections.

From now until July 4th, we will be offering 50% off all giftware and jewelry.

On July 4th we will be hosting a retirement celebration, 12-2pm with wine tasting and light bites to commemorate the occasion.

We will be closing our doors with full hearts and immense gratitude!
