Eight years ago, I started The Feisty Farmgirl Soap Company with a simple dream, a whole lot of determination, and a belief that handcrafted products made with integrity still mattered.
What began as a small farm-based soap business grew into something I could have never imagined. Along the way, I met incredible customers who became friends, celebrated countless milestones, and built a business that I'm immensely proud of. None of it would have been possible without your support, encouragement, and loyalty. Thank you for believing in this little farm and in me.
Today, I have bittersweet news to share.
As of today, The Feisty Farmgirl Soap Company has officially closed, and the business has been sold to a talented local artisan soap maker.
For those wondering if you can still purchase products, the answer is yes—for a little while longer. I will continue supplying Union Mills Feed with soap and deodorants over the next few weeks until my current inventory has been exhausted. Please be patient with me as I work to keep their shelves stocked. I'm making products as quickly as I can while wrapping up this final chapter.
While this marks the end of my chapter as owner, I couldn't be happier with who is carrying these products forward. She is not only an exceptional soap maker but also an incredible person whose passion for quality and craftsmanship shines through in everything she creates.
Although The Feisty Farmgirl Soap Company is coming to an end, the deodorants, shampoo bars, and conditioner bars so many of you have come to love—and, in some cases, swear you can't live without—will continue to be made under her own company. Knowing these customer favorites will live on made this decision so much easier.
Closing this chapter is emotional. This company has been a huge part of my life for the past eight years. It has challenged me, humbled me, and given me opportunities I never dreamed possible. I'll always be grateful for every order, every kind message, every market conversation, and every one of you who chose to support a small family business.
While The Feisty Farmgirl Soap Company has reached the end of its journey, this isn't goodbye for me.
Many of you know my heart has always been on the dairy side of the farm. With this transition, I'll be focusing my time and energy on the next adventure—building Panther Gold Creamery and expanding our Irish Rock Alpines dairy herd. It's a dream that's been years in the making, and I'm excited for what lies ahead.
Once the new owner is ready to launch these products under her own brand, I'll gladly share her business name, where you can find her, and how you can purchase the products you've come to love. I hope you'll give her the same incredible support you've shown me over the past eight years.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be part of your homes and your lives. Your support has meant more than you'll ever know.
