August 29, 2026 at the Friends Of Companion Animals Feline Rescue & Adoption Center, 12-5 pm, here in Monroe, MI. Tons of amazing artists will be here, and it's an event that benefits the local cat shelter. Come see the artisans and visit with the kittens 😍

September 5, 2026 at the Labor Day Parade and Festival, 2-9 pm, also here in Monroe, MI. There will be music, tons of entertainment, local makers and artists, food trucks, and will overall be an awesome time. Side note: my first and middle names are Julia and Rose, but I am not affiliated with the featured artist, named Julia Rose. Just wanted to straighten that out - we will both be there, but we are not the same person 😅

HUUUGE THANK-YOU to those who came out to see us at Delirium Moon today! It was a great event; the Ethereal Loft is an amazing new space, and Delirium Moon seemed to have a great second birthday celebration. The vibes were good and the people were so kind.

As of today, I have a Square card reader. It was in the works anyway, but after losing a sale because I don't have a physical credit card option, I decided to rip off the band-aid and get one. Like, girl just do it 😅 the reader should be here in a few days. I got a solar power bank to have for charging devices while on my day job...looks like I have another option for keeping the card reader alive and running. Convenient timing 🧐

*PLEASE READ*
I'd like to address something, that's been happening over the past couple of years. 90% of the messages I receive for my tiny small biz have been scammers. The formula is the same: they respond to a post or a photo that I post, ask if it's still available. Once, I got them all the way to the payment stage - and then they claimed their venmo wasn't working correctly and they wanted me to pay them first and then they'd pay it back to me. Huh?? Not how it works. I didn't get screenshots of that one because I reported them.

A good red flag to look for is looking at their profile, and finding they have very few friends/connections, finding their location (sometimes it's overseas), and that they have a lack of posts. As you see in the screencaps, when I didn't respond for a while, their profiles no longer exist. Scammers don't have any decorum, either; they expect immediate responses and when you don't respond, sometimes they get annoying (see below). I have received text messages too, with the same exact formula.

A fellow small business owner mentioned to me, asking folks to use a code word for us to make sure you're real. I thought it was a really good idea. If you see a piece on my page that you like and you'd like to purchase, please use the word GREENMAN so that I know you're a real human, and not a bot or some weirdo who's trying to steal my venmo information.

Apparently, I hit the motherlode with some jewelry supplies that got passed down from a family member. I am attempting to do a big restock of everything at each price tier, since my display racks still had noticeable blank spaces at the last event. The new pieces scratched my brain in a good way, and I finally felt inspired; this is a tiny sample of what I did in-between work tasks today. I'd say this was a good start to the week.
