As we head into one of our busy seasons, we’re looking for someone who is ready to learn, ready to work, and excited to jump in and be part of our team. The perfect fit will enjoy working with out team, be eager to assist both our customers & vendors, and of course, having a love for antiques is a BIG plus! ✨

This is a part-time position, approximately 2–3 days per week.

Good Sunday evening friends! I just completed this gallery wall in my kitchen tonight. I am planning on painting this wall dark green in the near future. Just an example of what you can group together on your walls mixing antiques, modern, dark academia, deer antlers, etc. I hope this gives you some inspiration. I love it!

Are you ready for Halloween?!!🎃 My grandmother made the Raggedy Ann Costume in the late 70’s. She even made the wig. There is a Raggedy Andy costume that matches it. She made them for my parents to wear to a Halloween party. The costumes have been passed around the family ever since. I even dressed as Raggedy Ann for Halloween for school in the 10th grade.

I very much identify with this post, except that when you add antique booth vendor to being a furniture repainted, you discover you are a hoarder and learn to accept it😁 Yes I do have inventory in my living room, dining room, garage, basement…

10 things nobody warns you about when you start painting furniture…

1. Your normal clothes will slowly become painting clothes. Even the “good” ones. Especially the good ones.

2. Your car will never fit in the garage again. The garage belongs to the furniture now.

3. You’ll become exceptionally good at furniture Tetris. Three cabinets, two bedside tables and a chair *will* fit in there if everyone remains calm.

4. You’ll own 27 paintbrushes—and still use the same three every single time.

5. You’ll discover you’re much stronger than you ever knew. Mostly while moving an enormous cabinet by yourself because nobody else is home and patience has never been your thing.

6. Every project has a stage where you stand back and think, “Well, I’ve absolutely ruined that.”

7. You’ll start slowing down whenever you see furniture on the side of the road. Just looking, obviously.

8. You’ll develop surprisingly strong opinions about drawer handles—and expect other people to care.

9. You’ll only want to make friends with other furniture people because they’re the only ones willing to discuss paint finishes, decoupage paper and the potential of an abandoned buffet for more than four minutes.

10. Finishing one project will not make your furniture pile smaller. Somehow, it only encourages it.
