The Story Shop is HIRING! The Story Shop is looking for a Celebration Facilitator! Our Celebration Facilitators host children’s birthday parties on Saturdays (and some Sundays) in our Celebration Room.

Physical duties include décor setup, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and dishes. Celebration Facilitators engage little ones in several activities, read stories, and provide an experience of magic and whimsy for the children. Applicants MUST have a love of small children, be able to RAISE THEIR VOICE above a large crowd, be 16+ years old, and have a theatrical and bubbly personality!

Applicants MUST be able to work TWO FULL SATURDAYS a month from 9:00 am – 6:30 pm.

Interviews will take place Thursday, September 3rd from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR A TIME SLOT! How? Sign up here: https://evite.me/t82KNb6Ycu

As our 10th birthday gets closer, we’ve been looking back at where some of the magic began. ✨

Back in 2016, this was just a blank wall — but we already had a picture in our minds of what it could become: a beautiful floor-to-ceiling bookcase filled with special editions of beloved books, complete with the rolling library ladder we had always dreamed of. 📚

As we get ready to celebrate The Story Shop’s 10th birthday, we’re creating a very special video — and we want YOU to be part of it.
