Happy Hobbit Day! I've got some damaged copies of the trilogy: Fellowship is no longer readable as a book, so the pages will find new life as origami and crafts. But Towers has that picture of Legolas and Gimli so I feel compelled to keep it intact 😂 What are you doing for the occasion?

We give out books to kids every Halloween, for Trick or Read! The past several years I've paid for them out-of-pocket, with the help of a partial grant. This year I have neither, so I'd like to ask if you are weeding your kids' shelves we would love donations of gently used, decent condition: board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, and so on through October 30th (they don't need to be Halloween books). Thanks for your help!
