The Laws: Bicyclists must ride with traffic, use hand signals when turning or stopping, and use proper lighting in the dark. Motorists must allow at least 3 feet when passing bicyclists and yield to them as they would other motorists. Officers are out in communities now enforcing these key bicycle safety laws.
